Dr. Irish Gonzales, or “Dr. G,” has been in practice as a chiropractor in the San Gabriel Valley since 1993. Concurrent with her undergraduate studies, Dr. G worked in various health care fields where she noticed that the health care system was designed to primarily treat the sick but did little to teach people how to stay healthy. This inspired her to choose chiropractic, a healing practice with a much more proactive approach to health, and to teach her patients the most effective and natural methods to pain relief, spinal correction, and general healthcare. Prior to receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, Dr. G was a high school and college basketball, softball and volleyball athlete. Her competitive sports experience has given her firsthand approach to preventing and treating sports injuries. Dr. G utilizes a unique fusion of chiropractic adjusting techniques. Certified in Nimmo, Dr. G uses this method to address muscle trigger points, which occur from neuromuscular skeletal stress and imbalance. She also incorporates a treatment plan that often includes stretching, strengthening, and postural exercises. She screens out potential health risks using cutting edge examination methodology, which includes x-ray analysis when necessary. Many patients have benefited from Dr. G’s care, especially those suffering from acute and chronic neck & back pain, disc & nerve conditions and various other work, sports, and automobile injuries. Dr. G emphasizes health education so her patients can make better, more informed decisions regarding their health. Mario Dominguez, DC
